Why use this image flipper?

Horizontal and vertical

Mirror left-to-right, top-to-bottom, or both at once. The combined flip gives you a quick 180° equivalent without reaching for a separate rotate tool.

Live preview

The thumbnail grid updates the moment you toggle a direction. Try horizontal, then vertical, then both — there's no waiting for re-encoding until you actually click Apply.

Batch up to 30 images

Drop a whole folder of photos in one go. Every image gets the same flip applied, exactly the same way, and comes back as a tidy ZIP.

Output keeps your format

A flipped JPG stays JPG, a PNG stays PNG, a WebP stays WebP. No surprise format changes, no extra conversion step.

Files stay private

Your photos never leave your laptop. Decoding, flipping and re-encoding all happen on a canvas in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server.

Free, with no daily limit

No subscription, no two-flips-a-day cap, no watermarks on the result. Use it as often as you need.

Why you might need to flip an image

A product catalogue that wanted left-facing shoes

You've just shot fifty pairs of running shoes for an online store. The template the design team gave you wants every shoe facing left, but half your shots came out facing right because of how the lighting was set up. Re-shooting is out of the question.

You drop all twenty-five right-facing photos onto the page, toggle Horizontal, and watch the grid flip in unison. The previews update instantly so you can sanity-check that nothing went strangely orientated, then you click Apply and grab a single ZIP of flipped JPGs.

The shoot stays on schedule. The template fills up with cleanly oriented product shots. Nobody can tell you didn't redo half the day.

A selfie that came back mirrored

You take what feels like a great photo on your phone for a profile picture, look at it, and realise the text on your t-shirt is backwards. Selfie cameras mirror the preview but save the un-mirrored frame, so it's the opposite of what you saw on screen.

You upload the photo, hit Horizontal, and the words read the right way again in the preview. One Apply later you have a clean version saved next to the original. No filter app, no signup, no sending the picture through a service that wants your email.

The profile picture goes up. The text is legible. Nobody asks why your t-shirt logo looks wrong.

A scanned page that flipped during the scan

You're digitising your grandfather's recipe book. Your phone scanner caught most of the pages perfectly, but a few got captured upside down because you held the phone the wrong way and the auto-rotate gave up.

You select the four affected pages, toggle both Horizontal and Vertical to get a 180° flip in one step, and the previews snap into place. Apply, download, and slot the corrected scans back into the recipe folder before you forget which pages were broken.

The book is digital end to end. The pages all read the right way. Sunday's lasagna recipe is just a click away.
